Sirana Software Licenses AppAnalyzer From NetIQ Corporation
BELLEVUE, WA — November 03, 2005 — Today Sirana Software announced that it
has licensed AppAnalyzer for Exchange from NetIQ Corporation (Nasdaq: NTIQ). AppAnalyzer
for Exchange is a reporting solution that allows email administrators to monitor
Microsoft Exchange usage and email traffic flows in their organization. Sirana also
announced that it has released a new version of AppAnalyzer, which is available
now.
"AppAnalyzer is an important part of their Exchange management tools for many of
the world's largest Exchange deployments," noted Chris Williams, Sirana's president.
"With this announcement, Sirana demonstrates that AppAnalyzer continues to have
a strong future."
Sirana to Provide AppAnalyzer Development, Support and Maintenance
AppAnalyzer is in use today at hundreds of organizations worldwide, who collectively
have purchased millions of AppAnalyzer mailbox licenses. Sirana will provide these
customers with an ongoing resource for AppAnalyzer support and maintenance. In addition,
Sirana will continue to enhance the product, ensuring that it remains the best of
breed solution for enterprise-level Microsoft Exchange reporting.
Sirana Software has a long history with the AppAnalyzer product, having developed
the initial version in 1999 before the products' acquisition by NetIQ. "It's gratifying

Customer Program Protects Existing AppAnalyzer Investment
In conjunction with NetIQ, Sirana has created a program that allows customers to
transfer their AppAnalyzer maintenance contracts to Sirana, protecting their existing
investment. As part of this program, previous NetIQ AppAnalyzer customers with existing
current maintenance contracts can upgrade to the new version of AppAnalyzer at no
charge. To register for AppAnalyzer support and receive new AppAnalyzer license
keys, NetIQ AppAnalyzer customers should contact Sirana Software for more information.
New AppAnalyzer Version Enhances Email Reporting
Sirana Software also announced a new release of AppAnalyzer, which is the first
update from the company. The new version introduces a variety of features designed
to enhance the product, including:
- Customizable RSS feeds that allow customers to receive status updates from AppAnalyzer
in their favorite RSS client.
- Personalized AppAnalyzer Today page that allows users to arrange their own page
design and layout.
- An enhanced setup experience that eliminates many of the pre-requirements, making
AppAnalyzer easier to install.

Sirana AppAnalyzer 3.1, Enterprise Edition is available now from the company's web
site and from Sirana's network of partners and distributors worldwide.
