MMS 2007 Best of Show Finalist! Penton Media's Windows IT Pro and SQL Server Magazine announced that Sirana Software's SpamCenter was one of 10 finalists for the Best of Microsoft Management Summit 2007 Awards. "The field included more than 40 entries and after technically evaluating all of the entries, we chose finalists based on the product's strategic importance to the market, its competitive advantages and the value to the customer," said Michael Otey, Technical Directory of Windows IT Pro. With Sirana SpamCenter, messages that are identified as spam by the Exchange IMF are automatically added to a SQL database, eliminating SPAM message buildup on the Exchange server. Once they are added to the database, users can securely browse their quarantined messages through a web interface. They can release messages that were blocked in error, eliminating the need for manual intervention by administrators. Users can also build personal Safe Sender lists and Blocked Sender lists to manage their quarantines automatically. All without ever needing to contact their email administrator.
