Sirana SpamCenter 1.5

New Version Available!

 Sirana is pleased to announce the availability of Sirana SpamCenter 1.5, the newest version of Sirana's end-user spam management solution for the Exchange Intelligent Message Filter. When used in conjunction with the Exchange message filter, SpamCenter provides a complete, user-administered anti-spam system designed for easy, low-cost deployment and use.

Here are just a few of the new features found in this release:

  • SCL-based blocking - Users and administrators can set policies to automatically block messages based on the Exchange Spam Confidence Level.
  • Text-based Safe Lists and Blocked Lists - Users and administrators can search for phrases in a message's subject line to automatically deliver or block a message.
  • Message Preview supports HTML - Message preview shows a blocked message with HTML formatting, while still stripping out images and other potentially dangerous content.
  • RSS feed - Users can receive a list of their Blocked Messages as a feed in their favorite RSS client.
  • Customized notification message - The nightly message summary can be completely customized by the administrator.  Administrators can add links to intranet resources like help desks or web portals, and can use substitution phrases like {firstname} to customize the message for each user.
  • Active Reports - Reports that show Top Spam Senders and similar content have clickable links that can be used to block all messages from that domain with a single click.
  • Administrative Undelete - Administrators can retrieve or review messages that have been deleted by users.
  • Exclude Mailboxes - Administrators can exclude specific messages from message blocking, allowing all messages to be instantly delivered.
  • Supports both Forms-based authentication and Windows authentication - The SpamCenter web supports either Forms-based (cookie) authentication or Windows-based authentication, allowing for easy integration into both intranets and extranets.
