Sirana AppAnalyzer 3.2

Sirana is pleased to announce the availability of Sirana AppAnalyzer 3.2, Enterprise Edition.

AppAnalyzer is a web-based reporting and analysis tool that helps Exchange administrators and IT personnel manage Microsoft Exchange usage. Through a list of pre-defined, automated reports, AppAnalyzer displays usage data about your Exchange servers, including message traffic analysis, message delivery times, historical and current mailbox and public folder storage data, OWA usage, chargeback information and message content analysis.

New Features!

Sirana AppAnalyzer 3.2, Enterprise Edition is the second release developed by Sirana Software since licensing the product from NetIQ Corporation in 2005.  Several new features, as well as bug fixes have been added in these releases, including:

• PDF & RTF Format Reports - AppAnalyzer has always provided scheduled output of reports in HTML format. With AppAnalyzer 3.2, customers can now also schedule reports to be published in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF), as well as Rich Text Format (RTF).

• Export to PDF & RTF Files - Previous versions of AppAnalyzer allowed users to click the Export button from within the AppAnalyzer WebAdmin and generate a Comma Separated Value (CSV) file.  AppAnalyzer 3.2 extends this functionality to provide exports in Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) and Rich Text Format (RTF).  

• Outlook-friendly HTML Reports - Reports that had been scheduled to publish in HTML format via email contained many attached files that appeared in Outlook.  Depending on the security settings in the Outlook client, these reports could be blocked from viewing due to the file attachments. AppAnalyzer 3.2 now generates a single HTML formatted email without attachments.

• Internet Messages by Mailbox Report - There has long been an AppAnalyzer report called "Messages by Mailbox" that displays the number or megabytes of User Traffic messages sent and/or received by mailboxes.  AppAnalyzer 3.2 now includes a report to display the Internet-only message traffic for mailboxes.

• Enhanced "Messages by Sender & Receiver Report - The "Messages by Sender and Receiver" report includes not only the count of messages sent or received, but now also displays the size of messages.

A 30-day Trial version can be downloaded by visiting the Sirana Software web site and creating a user profile.

Important Note: All existing customers will receive a separate email with updated license keys for this release.  

NetIQ AppAnalyzer Customers

Did you know that NetIQ will end all support for AppAnalyzer in August?

In conjunction with NetIQ, Sirana has created a program that allows customers with existing NetIQ AppAnalyzer Maintenance & Support agreements to transfer their AppAnalyzer contracts to Sirana, protecting their existing investment.
